Solventum needs to build great software by having product managers represent the software development team's interests to stakeholders and customers, and ensure software solutions meet business goals and user needs.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of working experience in digital solution development in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Agile Methodology experience including Release Management and Quality Management
- Experience with design research techniques to understand the customer (e.g., interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, card sorting)
- Hypothesis-driven, problem-solving orientation with ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive decision making
- Ability to synthesize structured and unstructured data into insights and executive level narratives
- Experience leading multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives with the ability to balance quality of deliverable and tight timelines
Responsibilities
- Translating business goals into specific software requirements
- Prioritizing software features based on market need analyses and company strategies
- Supporting strategizing external collaborations and integrations to accelerate platform value
- Managing software project scope by making tradeoffs between competing software requirements, such as time vs. cost and software security vs. speed
- Prioritizing feature requests from software development teams
- Crystallizing the product vision and working closely with software engineers/the technical team to define its specifications
- Ensuring that the software solution is successfully meeting business goals and users' needs
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of experience as a manager/supervisor with multiple direct reports in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Master’s degree in business administration or technology management from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of healthcare industry experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively; influencing cross-functional teams towards a common goal
- Comfortable in stakeholder management with the ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and with various cross-functional partners
- Work location: Remote
- Travel: May include up to 25% [domestic/international]
