Walmart is looking for a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the modernization of one of their key enterprise applications, transitioning from a legacy JSP-based experience to a modern, responsive React Native application.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in React, React Native, Next.js
- Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, Typescript
- Expert-level proficiency in GraphQL architecture and integration
- Strong understanding of mobile and web application patterns, component-driven development, and responsive UI frameworks
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience implementing Automated testing (unit, integration, UI)
- Experience with Observability and metrics instrumentation

- 13+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building large-scale, production-grade applications
- Proven track record delivering applications serving 2M+ users or equivalent enterprise-scale workloads
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence engineering teams and cross-functional partners
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
