Walmart's Last-Mile Delivery team is building intelligent systems to power their delivery infrastructure, and they are seeking a Sr. Manager of Pricing Automation to lead the design and optimization of intelligent pricing systems for Spark's Driver Offer Price. The goal is to develop automated solutions that dynamically balance delivery cost and reliability across markets to scale with Walmart's last-mile delivery growth.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with fluency in SQL and data tools.
- Experience designing or optimizing dynamic pricing systems in logistics, gig economy, or mobility.
- Understanding of ML models, Agentic AI systems, and optimization techniques at scale.
- Experience in A/B testing, experimentation platforms, or causal inference.
- Successful completion of one or more assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R
- Using open source frameworks (for example, scikit learn, tensorflow, torch)
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve pricing models that determine driver pay across markets, time windows, and demand scenarios.
- Partner closely with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Ops to deploy dynamic pricing algorithms.
- Analyze driver and fulfillment behavior to continuously improve offer acceptance, profitability, and reliability.
- Build and iterate on automation frameworks that trigger pricing updates based on real-time signals.
- Define and track pricing KPIs (e.g., cost per delivery, acceptance rates, spend efficiency).
- Run pricing experiments in close collaboration with Data Science and Field Ops teams.

- 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, operations research, analytics, or product management.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, and operations.
- Clear, structured communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities.
- Proven track record of driving measurable improvements to unit economics or behavioral outcomes.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and influencing trade-offs across business levers.
