Walmart - VIZIO is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement scalable, AI-powered cloud services that drive innovation and deliver seamless experiences for millions of users, while also extending the capabilities of smart TVs and empowering engineers with intelligent automation.
Requirements
- 7+ years in software engineering focused on cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and backend languages (Python, Go, Java, Node.js)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to integrate AI/ML models into production
- Strong API design and cloud-native architecture skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
Responsibilities
- Extend and enhance cloud infrastructure for smart TV apps and engineering tools
- Build APIs and backend services for data processing and AI-powered features
- Independently identify and implement AI/ML solutions for personalization and automation
- Develop internal tools to boost engineering productivity and data accessibility
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and observable
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
