Walmart's Enterprise Business Services (EBS) is seeking to develop streamlined, dependable technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE), including services for procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. The role aims to drive efficiency across Walmart globally by developing HR chatbots, virtual assistants, invoice solutions, and facilitating legal changes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, performance engineering role for customer-facing solutions in large-scale systems, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
- Hand-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot framework, React & Node.js, automation tools, performance analysis, web services, and REST.
- Expertise in Apache JMeter, Gatling, Locust, Splunk/Open Observe, Grafana, Dynatrace, and APM tools.
- Skills in debugging, monitoring, and optimizing cloud platform infrastructure and services.
- Experience with performance benchmarking for large-scale applications on Kubernetes platforms.
- Knowledge of technologies for building scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments and understanding of performance trade-offs.
- Proficiency in DevOps for troubleshooting and improving applications performance.
Responsibilities
- Drive design, development, implementation and documentation of solutions in Indirect Procurement space.
- Extensively Work on POCs to adopt the right solution for business.
- Contribute to the success of the implementation by applying technical skills, to design and deploy enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate with functional team to understand the requirement and design effective solutions.
- Work closely with the technical team and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery).
- Drive and fuel innovation within the team, build hacks, work on patents.
- Learn on the go and work on both new requests/projects as well as support production based on priority.
