Walmart is seeking to solve complex software engineering problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology to develop highly scalable services for its OMNI Returns platform, which processes millions of requests daily and ensures a seamless returns experience for customers across Walmart's stores and .com channels.
Requirements
- Over 10+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale, distributed systems
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Strong background in building scalable applications using Micro-services architecture
- Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, etc.)
- Expertise in internet-scale distributed technologies (e.g., ElasticSearch, Solr, MemCache, and similar tools)
- Experience working with distributed event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area

- Design & Develop software for our OMNI Returns Backend Systems
- Design and implement pipelines to process real time delivery data against our Walmart Global Tech Guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross team and cross functional stakeholders.
