CuraScript SD, a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor and subsidiary of Express Scripts, Inc. – a Cigna Company, is seeking to improve user experience through user-centered, accessible, and intuitive interfaces that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or InVision.
- Proven experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
- Strong knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI design across complex, data-rich platforms.
- Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
- Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX and UI architecture strategy for assigned products, ensuring consistency and alignment with Cigna design standards.
- Conduct and synthesize user research, persona development, and journey mapping to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, information architectures, and visual designs that bring complex workflows to life in a clear, intuitive way.
- Partner with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and ensure design intent carries through to implementation.
- Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
- Conduct usability testing, analyze results, and iterate to continuously improve user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, presenting design solutions and articulating the rationale behind decisions.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX and UI design, with at least 2+ years in an architect or lead-level role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Customer Focus: Puts user needs at the center of all design decisions.
