Amentum JETS II contract seeks to fill a temporary User Experience (UX) Designer Intern position to develop web interfaces for science data sets from NASA's International Space Station and Artemis missions, and to develop science data visualization designs, graphic designs, and applications for exploration science and mission data.

Responsibilities
- Work in a small development team environment alongside NASA scientists, engineers, flight controllers, and other professionals in to develop web interfaces for science data sets from NASA's International Space Station and Artemis missions
- Code, build, test, and deploy feature enhancements to core products in the EVA Mission System Software portfolio
- Develop science data visualization designs, graphic designs, and applications for exploration science and mission data
- Assist in communicating science mission requirements to a range of mission engineering develop projects and organizations
Other
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university.
- Completed at least 45 credit hours.
- Minimum of 2.8 GPA.
- Current student or recent graduate with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human Computer interaction, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time).
- May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
- Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
