Responsibilities
- Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes related to technology and products.
- Conduct research using a wide variety of quantitative methods and a subset of qualitative methods, such as surveys.
- Collaborate with product teams to identify research topics and generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs.
- Conduct research using a wide variety of quantitative methods through the lens of user experience, human-computer interaction, and information science.
- Oversee and design the user experience component to generate actionable insights.
- Incorporate user experience design, data, research, and user-computer technologies to develop and enhance experiences of products.
- Conduct applied product research, and/or focus on directly relevant research topics, to understand users’ behaviors, motivations and attitudes on using the products.
Other
- Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Information Management, Information Systems or related field and 1 year of work experience in the job offered or in a data research-related occupation
- Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
- Collaborate cross functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing teams to complete projects they are assigned to.
