This role will support city-wide compliance with the benchmarking ordinance by supporting water data requests. This role will also support municipal energy data management and compliance with required ordinances.
Requirements
- Ability to manipulate, analyze, and organize large data sets.
- Knowledge of or experience withbuilding science
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with energy systems.
- Knowledge of new and emerging trends in the area of energy efficiency and energy management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel
Responsibilities
- Monitor the water benchmarking email account and answer any questions received.
- Manage day-to-day issues with water utility bills and meters coordinating with facilities personnel when necessary.
- Assist in managing the City’s energy management database, including bill upkeep and uploads, user training and major data changes.
- Ensure data is accurate and work to apply solutions when it is not.
- Track and analyze water use and costs at the facility and department level.
- Track and verify savings of completed energy efficiency and conservation projects.
- Provide external stakeholders with requested water utility data.
