The company is looking to solve the problem of inconsistent UX patterns and pain points across regional sites, and needs a UX designer to partner with the AEM Architect to understand current UX patterns, pain points, and variations, and to support the definition of a shared design system and reusable UX patterns aligned with AEM component architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX design experience with responsive web platforms, preferably in large-scale, multi-site environments.
- Experience designing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of component-based design systems and UX patterns.
- Proficiency with UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure.
- Ability to create wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and annotated UX specifications.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how UX integrates with development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the AEM Architect to understand current UX patterns, pain points, and variations across regional sites.
- Conduct user research, heuristic evaluations, and competitive analysis to inform UX unification and localization needs.
- Support the definition of a shared design system and reusable UX patterns aligned with AEM component architecture.
- Translate the reference architecture and blueprint into intuitive wireframes, user flows, and prototypes.
- Deliver low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to guide AEM component development.
- Work closely with the AEM Architect and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of UX designs into AEM components.
- Define and document UX guidelines to support consistent experiences across master and regional sites.
