Visionist is looking for a UX Designer to provide visualization and presentation services for the prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools, focusing on user experience, systems engineering, and graphic design support for a software development portfolio.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in UX design
- Hands-on experience with UX design, prototyping, and user-focused workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear visuals
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, managers, and engineers to solve UX challenges for mission technologies
- Research user workflows and translate findings into modern, intuitive designs
- Create front-end mockups and prototypes with tools like Axure, PenPot, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Engage directly with users to capture feedback and improve usability
- Design user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets
- Enhance the user experience across multiple applications through interactive and visual design best practices
Other
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 5 years of experience may substitute degree)
- Analyst, End User, or mission SME experience highly desired
- U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible).
