The UX team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. The Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure.
Requirements
- Experience creating or contributing to scalable design systems.
- Experience designing, building, or launching consumer-facing products.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- Experience with visual design.
- Experience in localization and internationalization.
- Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process.
Responsibilities
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
- Create and maintain shared design resources, patterns, and libraries to unify design across products and platforms.
- Create industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution.
- Leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
- Streamline user experiences for consumers and empower merchants with in-store and online transactions.
- Design, build, or launch consumer-facing products.
Other
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide solutions.
- Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
- 4 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience in a regulated or payment space.
