This role will build the future of the Connected TV experience on YouTube, making YouTube the go-to streaming destination for live sports, movies, and shows through Primetime Channels by creating unparalleled streaming experiences.
Requirements
- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience creating, implementing, defining, or working with design systems.
- Experience with visual design in product or UX design environments.
- Experience designing consumer-facing products.
- Experience with interactive TV or streaming products.
- Experience with prototyping and a variety of UX design tools.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms, including mobile, desktop, and TV surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end designs for user journeys and key features, from wireframes and mockups to high-fidelity prototypes for TV, mobile, and web platforms.
- Articulate design ideas and solutions using scenarios, storyboards, presentations, and detailed interaction specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in UX, Product Management, and Engineering to create and implement user-centered design solutions.
- Partner with UX Research to formulate research hypotheses and translate user insights into impactful design improvements.
- Contribute to the overall UX goal and strategy, advocate for user-focused design principles to influence product direction and ensure consistency across the YouTube ecosystem.
- Leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
