Microsoft Security needs to reshape security and empower users, customers, and developers with a security cloud that protects them with end-to-end, simplified solutions. This involves unifying experiences across an expansive product ecosystem with new AI and agentic capabilities through a shared system of Figma UI kits, documentation/guidance, and React component libraries.
Requirements
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Typescript and React.
- 1+ year(s) of escperience shipping production-ready code as a result of a collaborative process.
- Systems thinking and design system development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing automation scripts and tools.
- Experience with translating high-fidelity designs into code using Figma.
- Familiarity with backend development concepts and API integration (REST, GraphQL) for data-driven UI components.
- Focus on optimizing front-end performance, with an understanding of AI tooling.

- Shape the future of our design system by contributing to AI-driven tooling, open-source initiatives, while building automation to enhance scalability, maintainability, and forward-thinking innovation.
- Meticulously craft our collective vision through code.
- Be an influential liaison between the UX and Engineering teams to up-level our quality across the organization—building consistent, intuitive, and accessible experiences leveraging modern aesthetics and the latest generative AI technology.
- Craft elegant, reusable components and bridging design with engineering at scale.

- The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Collaborate across disciplines to educate others on design and implementation tradeoffs, proactively identifying potential risks and developing solutions for optimal outcomes.
