Microsoft is looking to improve collaboration experiences across its products like Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint by enhancing their design system and integrating AI into the design and development process. The goal is to create deeper efficiencies between Design and Engineering to achieve better product outcomes.
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Familiarity with front-end fundamentals (accessibility, performance, and responsive design).
- Exposure to Figma and/or other design tools.
- Interest in developing skills in full-stack technologies and internal design systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop features with an eye for accessibility and polish.
- Learn and apply new tooling and automation to our systems.
- Collaborate with partners across products and disciplines, including Design, Research, Engineering and Program Management.
- Develop polished front-end components and experiences.
- Learn and apply new tools and automation to improve design-to-code workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from peers and leads.
- Follow best practices and provide code review feedback to your peers.

- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly within a team.
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Portfolio (GitHub or similar) showing relevant work is encouraged.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field + OR equivalent experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.
