Societe Generale Americas' Metrics Monitoring Group (MMG) needs to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial analysis, reporting, and certification for Global Markets, specifically focusing on P&L and counterparty risk metrics. The goal is to reduce the time to execute reporting, search for data, and automate analysis through the insertion of artificial intelligence and the automation of the Enterprise Risk management framework.
Requirements
- Usage of Python, SQL, VBA or DAX
- A previous experience in Python and Object Oriented Programming is required
- Knowledge of a BI tool is a plus
- Experience with HTTP APIs and Git Version Control is a plus
Responsibilities
- Improving processes in terms of daily reporting on P&L and counterparty risk. Review current process and build business requirements to add efficiency and improve comment insertion
- Development of a solution to reduce the time to execute a reporting or to search for data in an ad hoc request- Usage of Python, SQL, VBA or DAX
- Develop various certification and reporting tools
- Set up advancement points with the users to present status and progess. Be able to propose a timeline and a project plan
- Participation to the production of CCR reports or P&L reports to understand the constraints to improve the process
- Insertion of artificial intelligence to improve and automate analysis
- Automation of the Enterprise Risk management framework for Counterparty risk metrics to gain efficiency
Other
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Financial Engineering, Market Finance or Computer Science
- Fluent in English
- Detail-oriented, proactive and prone to take initiatives
- Good communication and presentation skills
