AGCO is looking for an Embedded Software Validation Engineer to test new software features for their RoGator and TerraGator platforms, aiming to help agriculture operators do more with less.
Requirements
- Good understanding of mechatronic systems, analog/digital circuits, and Python for automation.
- Familiar with vehicle communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, LIN), Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments like dSpace and Speedgoat.
- Exposure to agricultural machinery and hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Agile environment with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and testers to understand new requirements, then write test cases to support them.
- Develop and maintain a test bench to simulate agriculture machinery, including real-time models of major's systems, harness wiring of embedded controllers’ I/O, and hardware from machines
- Validate newly developed features and bugfixes, ensuring they meet customer satisfaction even if existing documentation is incomplete.
- Document testing results clearly in improving software quality and expediting the development process.
- Work towards process improvements such as test automation, test scope expansion, and cost reduction.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experienced in working with diverse teams; effective communication and documentation abilities.
