AGCO is looking to improve product performance, safety, and reliability of their agricultural and off-highway equipment through field testing and validation.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Skilled in PC-based tools
- Data analysis software experience is desired
- Hands-on experience in operating and testing agricultural or off-highway equipment
- Background or familiarity in agricultural
- Experience with data logging equipment
Responsibilities
- Conduct and manage field testing of prototype machines, including setup, monitoring, and detailed reporting of performance and reliability.
- Coordinate test logistics, including selecting suitable locations, working with cooperators, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Document and analyze data, including part failures, performance metrics, safety assessments, and using data logging equipment.
- Recommend design improvements based on test findings and share information on industry trends with engineering teams.
- Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition and appearance and ensure security of equipment
- Support lab testing, prototype updates, and customer machine evaluations
- Perform field modifications independently or with guidance
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass the Minnesota DOT physical
- Travel exceeding 50% is required
- Ability to work in an Onsite/Hybrid model from Jackson, MN
- Eligibility for a bonus based on 7% compensation
