AGCO is seeking a Validation Engineer to participate in the development and implementation of product test programs, testing components of AGCO products, and contributing to the development of testing concepts and standards to build a better and more sustainable world for farmers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with 3D CAD software/CREO
- At least 1 year of experience with data acquisition/analysis tools such as eDaq, LMS test Lab, LMS SCADAS, and nCode Glyphworks
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH)
- Experience with sensors like Accelerometers, Strain Gauges, and Pressure Transducers
- Knowledge of computer applications and test processes
- Experience with testing concepts, standards, facility improvements, and practices
- Experience with design responsibility in Jackson, including planters, row crop sprayers, floater trucks, and tractors
Responsibilities
- Working hands-on with test equipment, collecting and analyzing data in the test lab and out in the field.
- Evaluate test feasibility and coordinate work efforts to meet project requirements
- Apply in-depth knowledge of computer applications and test processes to accomplish testing requirements
- Analyze collected data and write reports to effectively communicate and archive technical information
- Work with design engineers, build technicians, suppliers, and the program team to develop a world-class product.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the product test programs
- Testing any component of the AGCO products with design responsibility in Jackson, including planters, row crop sprayers, floater trucks, and tractors
Other
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering is preferred. Alternatively, 4+ years of experience as a Test Engineer will be accepted.
- Must have the ability to operate equipment & machinery and lift up to 50lbs.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory
