Privia Health is seeking to modernize and centralize Analytics efforts by building an in-house application, and the Data Engineer will help solve healthcare's greatest informatics problems.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience writing production quality Python in a data engineering role.
- 2+ years experience writing performant organized SQL.
- Experience with object oriented programming and popular Python libraries is a plus.
- Experience packaging and deploying Python applications is a plus.
- Experience using frameworks such as DBT a plus
- Experience using data validation frameworks such as Monte Carlo or Great Expectations
- Experience with Analytics languages such as R or SAS a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to develop data solutions enabling faster and more accurate analytics across the data ecosystem.
- Guide technical decisions and design to reduce or eliminate disparate and manual processes while maximizing VBC analytics and process insights.
- Learn and implement new technologies as the needs of the team evolve.
- Contribute high quality well tested and QA’d code.
- Own application code as a product servicing the broader team.
- Guide team members on best practices in writing, maintaining and deploying code.
- Troubleshoot and fix data errors and anomalies.

- Qualitative and quantitative skills, with emphasis on effectively communicating complex data to a varied audience.
