Verizon is looking to enhance its Global Technology Solutions through interns who can contribute to meaningful projects that deliver tangible business impact, thereby strengthening their network and driving innovation.

Requirements

• Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (ex: Python, Java).
• Knowledge of mobile development (ex: IOS, Android).
• Knowledge of service Application Programming Interface ( API) Integration (ex: Microservices, Restful APIs, Web services).
• Knowledge of Web Development (ex: Frameworks, browsers, and embedded applications).
• Understanding of QA, automation tools, and/or Secure SW development cycle.
• Development methods: quality assurance, object-oriented programming, secure SW development lifecycle
• Software: server, applications design, engineering and evaluations

• Enhance skills in AR/VR and Computer Vision
• Enhance skills in Application development: SaaS development, scripting
• Enhance skills in Back-end: e.g. Express, Flask, Ruby
• Enhance skills in Development Tools & Languages: NET, C, C++, J2EE, Python, Java
• Enhance skills in Enterprise development: logging and monitoring, rules engine
• Enhance skills in Front-end: React.js, Ember, Vue

Other

• Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 1, 2026-August 7, 2026.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related majors with a completion date between December 2027 and June 2029.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
• Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
