FMX Services LLC is looking for a Vice President, BI Engineer to develop and present analytics and key performance/metrics data, build dashboards to analyze the performance of their matching engine and trading platform, and port existing dashboards to Tableau.
Requirements
- Data visualization tools including Tableau or PowerBI to be able to design dashboards and support our reporting needs.
- Ability to design coherent dashboards and presentation layer as well as coding using open-source BI tools such as Grafana, Shiny, Python.
- Querying databases and performing data analysis.
- Configure KDB and elastic data source to connect to Tableau client.
- Maintain python code for existing tools.
Responsibilities
- Build dashboards to help analyze the performance of our matching engine and trading platform.
- Port dashboards from existing business intelligence platforms like Grafana and Shiny to Tableau.
- Design and provide support for reporting infrastructure.
- Configure KDB and elastic data source to connect to Tableau client.
- Develop re-usable and scalable data visualization components across multiple business lines.
- Implement BAU changes in accordance with change management process (break fix, moves, adds & changes) and contribute to Continuous Service Improvement.
- Maintain python code for existing tools.
Other
- Collect business requirements from Fenics sales team.
- Setup new business reports for our clients and setup demos for sales team.
- Ensure projects and tasks meet deadlines quality expectations.
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of progressively responsible experience in business analyst or data analytics role.
- Collecting business requirements from multiple teams.
- Leading projects that involve designing and building analytical solutions, setting up data management workflows and presenting key performance metrics.
