Teknor Apex is seeking a Vice President, Business Manager to lead the Engineered Plastics and Elastomers products division and drive long-term value across domestic and global markets
Requirements
- Minimum of 15+ years in business management within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence, inspire, and deliver results at the executive level—both internally and externally
- Experience managing across multiple geographies and leading diverse teams with cultural sensitivity
- Ability to make complex decisions quickly, manage competing priorities, and execute flawlessly in a dynamic market
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision for the division aligned with corporate goals, repositioning products as high-value, industry-specific solutions
- Own full financial responsibility for the division—drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and ensure budget and investment alignment
- Expand the business footprint, leading both organic and strategic growth initiatives across international markets
- Scale operations efficiently by aligning resources, capital planning, and data-driven systems to support growth and profitability
- Guide new product development (NPD) and IP strategy to ensure long-term competitive advantage
- Cultivate senior-level relationships with key customers and suppliers to foster strategic partnerships and uncover new opportunities
- Mentor, coach, and elevate team performance while developing future leaders through high-impact career paths
