Salesforce is seeking a seasoned, highly technical executive to join its leadership team as the Vice President, Corporate & Product Business Development. This high-impact role is at the forefront of Salesforce’s innovation strategy, focused on delivering high-impact technology and go-to-market partnerships that enable the Agentic Enterprise.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical fluency - must be able to engage in detailed discussions about cloud architecture, data platforms, generative AI models (LLMs), and platform integration strategies.
- Direct experience working with, or establishing partnerships with, leading hyperscalers, data, or AI companies
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent practical technical experience.
Responsibilities
- Define, champion, and execute the global business development strategy for Salesforce’s core product lines (e.g., Agentforce 360, Data 360, Customer 360 Apps, Slack, Tableau).
- Interface daily with Product GMs and other senior executives to ensure partnership strategy is tightly aligned with product roadmaps and corporate priorities.
- Drive top-down strategy for new partnership opportunities.
- Oversee the identification, structuring, and negotiation of complex technology and distribution partnerships with leading global technology providers
- Lead and develop a high-performing global team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence, strategic thinking, accountability, and collaboration
- Act as a primary liaison between our partner’s product leadership teams and Salesforce product / engineering leaders, possessing the technical depth to articulate integration requirements, platform dependencies, and long-term technical architecture.

- 12+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, or strategic alliances roles within the technology sector.
- 5+ years of executive leadership experience managing global, high-performing teams, with a proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Proven track record of structuring and negotiating complex, multi-million dollar deals that required CxO level sign-off and delivered measurable product / revenue outcomes.
- Deep experience working with the C-suite and SVP+ executives in the product and engineering organizations of large, global technology companies.
- An MBA is a plus.
