The Vice President of Data Engineering & Analytics will be responsible for architecting and executing a global strategy that positions Data Engineering and Analytics as core enablers of the company's growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Expertise in enterprise data architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern data ecosystems (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Strong command of enterprise analytics and BI platforms, predictive/prescriptive analytics, and emerging data technologies (AI/ML, data mesh, IoT integration).
- Experience integrating across ERP and enterprise systems (SAP , Salesforce, Service Now, Workday).
- Deep knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, and global regulatory environments.
- Skilled in global program execution using agile and iterative delivery methodologies.
- Proven expertise with cloud, enterprise data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Prior accountability for significant budgets and resource portfolios in global organizations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance Data engineering and business intelligence platforms across geographies.
- Establish global delivery frameworks that balance regional agility with enterprise standardization.
- Champion continuous improvement in system performance, cost optimization, and speed to insight.
- Align closely with all GIS functions to ensure data engineering and data solutions enable and advance their strategic roadmaps.
- Establish and enforce enterprise wide data engineering and data governance frameworks to safeguard quality, security, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to global regulatory requirements (e.g., 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, MDSAP, IVDR, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, CCPA).
- Implement robust risk management policies, business continuity plans, and controls to ensure operational resilience.

- Set and execute the long-term global Data engineering and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives, digital transformation, and GIS priorities.
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of 151 employees and contractors, with responsibility for organizational growth, succession planning, and workforce expansion.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CIO and C-suite executives, influencing strategic direction and shaping enterprise-wide technology decisions.
- Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, cost discipline, and agility to accelerate business value.
- Oversee a $20M+ annual budget, with full responsibility for strategic investment, vendor/partner negotiations, and resource allocation to maximize ROI and enable scalable growth.
