BNY is seeking a Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join their Wealth Services Engineering team to make an impact in the development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
Requirements
- Experience in using a specific application development toolkit and knowledge of front-end and back-end development coding languages such as C, Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript
- Knowledge of application frameworks and containerization
- Extensive experience with developing and supporting front-end and back-end development required
- Experience in software development required
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end development coding languages

Responsibilities
- Provides application software development services or technical support in more complex situations
- Leads the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
- Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems
- Develops well-designed, testable, efficient code and analyzes, designs, and develops tests and test-automation suites
- Maintains software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain) and actively participates in code reviews
- Integrates software components into a fully functional software system and applies security and privacy principles
- Troubleshoots, debugs, and upgrades existing systems and ensures software is updated with the latest features
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- 5-7 years of experience in software development required
- Teamwork and organization skills
- Contributes to the achievement of area objectives
- Prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies
