BNY is looking for a Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join their Securities Finance Technology team to build and develop solutions that meet business needs by leveraging the latest technologies and best software engineering practices, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems, and provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements.
Requirements
- strong hands-on experience in technical design, development, implementation, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Core Java (and related tools such as Visio Studio/IntelliJ, etc)
- Core Spring Framework
- Python/R Script
- webservices
- Linux commands and scripting
- relational databases
- GIT
- frontend framework such as Angular
- intermediate understanding of security principles, and architecture design principles.
- Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code.
- Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites.
- Familiarity with Kafka, AWS (S3), AI, etc.
Responsibilities
- Consults with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support.
- Build and develop solutions to meet our business needs by leveraging the latest technologies and best software engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Ensure software is updated with latest features.
- Participate in deployment process following all change controls.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred. Typically, 5-9 years of experience.
