BNY is seeking a Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join their Conventional Trust team to lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications and drive transformative solutions that redefine industries and uplift communities worldwide.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot for building micro services and RESTful APIs
- Strong proficiency in Angular (including modern versions), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in Agile methodology including CI/CD, application resiliency and security, as well as developmental toolsets including GITLab, Junit, SonarQube, Splunk
- Any work experience with python scripting is an added advantage.
- 5-9 years of experience in full stack software development required.
- Experience with Java Spring Framework and Angular.
- Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Java Spring Framework and Angular.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology platforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to technology and risk management.
- Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
