BNY is seeking a Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to design and build high-performance, reusable front-end components, develop backend APIs, and collaborate with global teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of development experience, with strong skills in Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
- Solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, and version control (Git).
- Experience working in Agile teams with CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure), microservices experience, testing frameworks, and performance optimization skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Angular-based UIs that are fast, responsive, and accessible.
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with UX, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, coding standards, and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous delivery processes.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
