BNY is seeking a Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join their Wealth Services Engineering team to design, develop, test, and deploy full stack web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize application performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Front-End Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Proficiency in Back-End Technologies: Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring), or .NET, RESTful API and/or GraphQL design and implementation
- Database Experience: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases
- DevOps/Tools: Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Testing Frameworks: Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar for front/back-end testing
- Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and security best practices
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code (frontend + backend)
- Create and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Implement responsive UI components using modern front-end frameworks
- Integrate with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms
- Optimize application performance and scalability

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
