BNY Product Governance team needs to guide bank-wide commercial products through internal review, and the role is to support operations, drive innovation, and solve complex problems using AI, analytics, and data.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, AI, and metrics / analytics, with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI / automation models to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Develop / update analytics / reports used by our Product Governance team as well as our 400+ Product Managers and Control Function SMEs, analyzing Product datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions
- Analyze current and emerging business activities, propose and deliver improvements using AI, analytics / reporting, data, and business office tools
- Support evolution of ProGo application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights that develop solutions to current and emerging challenges
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and reporting/analytics technologies and apply them to our Product Governance processes / landscape.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, information Systems, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered. 7 years total is preferred.
- Banking and Financial Services experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong oral / written communication, collaboration skills in support of partnering within Product Governance and across the Product Practice community.
- This role is located in New York City or Pittsburgh, PA in a Hybrid work environment.
- The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
