Strata Clean Energy is looking to drive strategic leadership, technical excellence, and team performance across utility-scale solar and battery storage (BESS) projects nationwide to accelerate the transition to a carbon-free grid.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of power systems, energy storage, and utility interconnection
- Background in utility-scale renewable energy, EPC, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with AI tools, automation, and modern software platforms
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, ASCE, AISC, UL, and regulatory requirements
- PE license
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a high-performing team of electrical, civil, mechanical, and structural engineers
- Oversee engineering execution across PV and BESS projects from early development through operations
- Establish technical standards, QA/QC protocols, and design best practices
- Collaborate with development, construction, procurement, and O&M teams
- Drive innovation through AI tools, automation, and modern software platforms
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, ASCE, AISC, UL, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the technical authority on complex engineering and design issues

- 12+ years of progressive engineering experience (5+ in a senior leadership role)
- Proven experience leading geographically diverse engineering teams
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and team-building skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
