BlackRock is seeking a Vice President Securities Lending Trader to join their Americas Equity Trading team to generate alpha for clients and optimize returns through a variety of trade types, while contributing to the development of the Securities Lending business.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience in one or more of; SQL, Python, VBA, Business Objects is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of prior experience in Equities / Securities Lending / Financing markets / Delta One Strategies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Actively trade and optimize BlackRock's US and International Equity securities lending book for clients.
- Actively build and implement trading strategies based on analysis of companies, sectors, and market variables.
- Develop, lead and build on internal & financing market relationships.
- Build and lead partnerships with internal teams, including our global trading team to help drive efficiencies to improve revenue, performance and mitigate risks.
- Be responsible for day-to-day administrative issues in support of trading activities and liaise with trading operations.
- Work with internal Quant-Algo Trading and Research and Innovation groups to innovate systems, trading analytics, and coordinate implementation.
- Manage risk with strong attention to even the smallest details.
