BNY is looking to hire a Technical Product Manager to join their Digital Assets team to formulate and define scope and objectives for product deliverables, analyze and define business requirements, and serve as a Blockchain/DLT solutions expert to build digital asset servicing capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated deep technical understanding of leading blockchain protocols, strengths and gaps.
- 5 plus years of experience developing products in blockchain/DLT and related technologies with strong understanding of token standards, and benefits of tokenization.
- Proven experience in product design and development with deep technical aptitude in developing new products.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and define scope and objectives for the product deliverables with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain.
- Work with stakeholders and SMEs to analyse, define, and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications.
- Serve as Blockchain, DLT solutions expert to build digital asset servicing capabilities in partnership with business teams and technology. This includes designing and delivering pilots.
- Design and build future state business architecture to support new and existing Blockchain, DLT use cases.
- Evaluate different Blockchain protocols / platforms to explore solution alternatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to deliver blockchain based solutions.
- Provide guidance on blockchain, DLT capabilities – available internally or in the marketplace – to determine best path forward factoring in feasibility, maturity of solutions, cost, time to market etc.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 5 plus years of experience working in one or more of the following areas - structured finance, securitization, payments, collateral.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, designers, and engineers.
- The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
