Intrepid, an SPA Company, needs a Video Developer/Producer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in creating compelling, mission-aligned content that communicates MDA’s strategic priorities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional video production experience, including as lead producer/director and proven ability to guide creative development from concept to storyboard to final product
- Proficiency with industry-standard production software (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
- Experience with studio and field production
- Familiarity with 3D animation workflows (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya)
- Working knowledge of color grading, sound design, and voiceover recording
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead producer/director responsible for guiding the full video production process—from concept development to final delivery
- Direct and manage a small team of video editors, motion designers, and animators
- Coordinate resources, timelines, and production workflows across multiple concurrent projects
- Execute to the highest standard of professionalism and visual excellence
- Produce a variety of modern video styles (action sequences, animations, interview-driven content, technical explainers)
- Directing camera crews and conducting interviews
- Color grading, sound design, and voiceover recording
Other
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Prior experience supporting DoD or government agencies, particularly in missile defense or aerospace sectors
- Experience with secure video production environments and handling of sensitive materials
- Strong storytelling, visual communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated team leadership and project coordination experience
