Pennymac is looking for a Video Production Intern to support their Greatness Lives Here studios team, specifically to assist with video editing and post-production tasks for various projects, including those related to high-profile partnerships.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- Portfolio Link required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble video projects, including corporate videos, internal communications, and marketing materials, working on projects from initial footage ingestion through final delivery
- Prepare projects for post-production, including organizing footage, syncing audio, and initial rough cuts
- Collaborate with the creative team on storyboarding, script review, and final edits to ensure creative alignment
- Create subclips from raw footage based on specific criteria or for highlight reels
- Transcribe videos and create captions/subtitles when needed
- Research and source stock footage or music for projects
- Assist production manager with administrative production tasks such as logging footage, and maintaining the video library
Other
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within the two years) of a program related to film, video production, communications, or a related field
- Passionate about video storytelling and the post-production process
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively on projects, and as well as collaborate within a team
