The Boeing Company is looking to develop and lead innovative Virtual Reality (VR) applications for training content creation and curation for maintenance, manufacturing, and factory operations in both commercial airline and government/defense domains, as well as maintain advanced visualization tools for their Operations and Logistics Simulation suite.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ development experience with Unreal Engine using blueprints.
- 3+ years’ development experience with C/C++.
- 2+ years’ experience with Unreal Motion Graphics UI Designer (UMG).
- 2+ years’ experience in developing VR applications for engineering.
- Experience in developing applications and application performance optimization.
- A strong/current working knowledge of, and experience with Unreal Engine.
- A strong/current working knowledge of, and experience with Unreal Blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Develops, documents, and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
- Maintains and modifies simulation code for integration of software components into a fully functional system.
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
- Performs software project management and software supplier management functions as necessary.
- Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes, tools and metrics.
- Executes and documents software research and development projects.
- Tracks and evaluates team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.
Other
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in parallel, using strong communication skills to effectively work with customers, VR users, and Boeing engineering experts.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
