The US Army’s Unclassified and SECRET Enterprise Networks, virtual and cloud resources require modernization, sustainment, and operation, and TekSynap is seeking a Virtualization Infrastructure Senior Subject Matter Expert to join their team to address this problem.
Requirements
- 12 Years of experience in cybersecurity or intelligence threat analysis, implementing Federal guidance while incorporating industry best practices.
- Knowledgeable in DoD Enterprise services.
- ITIL Foundations certification required within 3 months of start.
- Certifications in Virtualization and Cloud solutions administration and architecture
- VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)
- CompTIA Cloud+
- Azure Administrator Associate
Responsibilities
- Responsible for activities related to virtual and cloud solution administration.
- Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
- Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning.
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
- Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
- Manages network/system performance and maintains security.
- Installs all network software.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s with relevant IT degree.
- Up to 25% travel with possibility of more based-on mission requirements and future organizational growth
- US Citizenship required
- DoD Secret clearance required
