Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group (SSG) is looking to deliver end-to-end IT solutions and services by integrating various IT solutions and optimizing technology investments to help customers achieve their business outcomes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Experience with Linux server operation and maintenance.
- Demonstrated success managing environments with 100+ servers.
- Proficient in both Linux and Windows technologies; capable of independently resolving common system issues and analyzing performance problems related to CPU and I/O.
- Proficient in shell or Python scripting, with strong skills in automation to ensure stable and efficient service delivery.
- Proficient in KVM virtualization technologies such as libvirt, QEMU, and Virtio.
- Familiar with core OpenStack components, including Nova, Cinder, Glance, Neutron, and Keystone.
- Hands-on experience in managing large-scale OpenStack clusters.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of private cloud infrastructure services and operating systems.
- Promptly handle production system incidents to ensure overall infrastructure SLA.
- Continuously optimize the operation and maintenance framework of private cloud services to enhance platform stability and availability.
- Improve platform and tooling capabilities and drive architectural upgrades.
- Optimize and improve existing O&M and monitoring processes to enhance standardization and consistency in operations.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field a plus
- Strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Cultural Competency working across Chinese, American, Desi, European, and South American cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact.
- 3 days per week at our Morrisville location.
