Bosch is looking to research and develop Vision-Language-Navigation (VLA) systems for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) to address challenges in autonomous systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience on developing algorithms with focus on at least two of the following areas: multimodal foundation models, detection/segmentation, 3D scene understanding, autonomous driving, robotic navigation or planning and sensor fusion.
- Solid Python skills and proficient with libraries such as MMCV and PyTorch.
- Publication record in top venues including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICRA and IROS
- Familiar with SOTA in embodied question answering, vision-language navigation and so on.
- Familiar with ROS2
- Familiar with CARLA or IsaacSim
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research and engineering in multimodal LLMs, 3D perception, navigation and planning to address challenges in autonomous systems.
- Apply research results to real-world applications with high quality implementation
- Integrate the resulting system/software into existing Bosch platform
- Summarize research findings in high-quality paper and/or patent submissions
Other
- Ph.D. student in Computer Science, Robotics or related fields (Must be a current student)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Able to work independently, has strong research and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Candidates who have been offered the position must pass both screenings before their start date.
