Conversations to Remember (C2R) is a national nonprofit dedicated to combating the epidemic of social isolation and loneliness among senior citizens, including those with cognitive decline. They are seeking a Volunteer IT & Development Specialist to help maintain and grow their essential technology infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience in WordPress maintenance and development.
- Familiarity with, or a strong willingness to learn, workflow automation platforms, especially n8n.
- Experience with general software development and database design.
- Experience with Linux and Docker environments is a valuable plus.
Responsibilities
- Website Maintenance: Provide regular maintenance, security updates, and troubleshooting for our WordPress website.
- Development & Integration: Implement new features, integrations, and optimizations using various development tools.
- Automation Focus: Develop, maintain, and optimize our critical workflow automations, with preferred experience in n8n.
- Low-Code/No-Code: Utilize and manage functionality within low-code development tools to streamline operations.
- Technical Support: Offer high-level technical consultation and solutions for internal technology needs.
