Newfi Lending is looking to build and grow its AI capabilities by developing AI agents that can take actions and integrate with core platforms, aiming to improve operational efficiency and offer innovative lending solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years in software/data/ML engineering with 2+ years working on AI/ML systems in production.
- Experience with Agentic AI development.
- Experience delivering AI workflows using APIs or automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python development.
- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and exposure to containerization, CI/CD, or infrastructure-as-code.
- Understanding of security & privacy for regulated data environments.
- Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps and model evaluation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Newfi’s AI/agent strategy and roadmap.
- Establish AI best practices and contribute to building a cross-functional AI team.
- Build actionable AI agents with secure API integrations.
- Support guardrail implementation for safety, auditability, and compliance.
- Contribute to the design of RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval processes.
- Integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems using APIs and event-driven methods.
- Define KPIs/SLAs and deliver measurable operational improvements.
