Alliance Bernstein is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining a competitive investment product strategy across its US Retail and North America Institutional business channels, with the goal of driving corporate growth and optimizing its product lineup.
Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of capital markets, investment vehicles, and the marketplace (especially US Retail and North America Institutional)
- Experience with industry databases (e.g., Morningstar, Simfund and Bloomberg)
- Adept with Microsoft office suite
- Proven ability to develop and launch successful investment products across multiple channels
- Demonstrated leadership and influence with cross functional teams and senior leadership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to simplify complex investment ideas
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, CFA)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the firm’s investment product strategy in alignment with strategic and corporate growth objectives
- Evaluate market trends, distribution channel dynamics, competitor fund offerings and core competencies to drive thoughtful new product ideation
- Identify product gaps, opportunities and competitive positioning to strategically align the organization around high potential new product opportunities
- Develop comprehensive business cases in support of new product proposals
- Lead end-to-end product development processes including oversight of internal and fund board review and approvals
- Work with key functional areas to ensure operational readiness and scalability for new product introductions
- Systematically review AB’s product line to ensure the current offering is positioned appropriately in the marketplace

- 7-10+ years of experience in investment product or related role
- A strong team contributor, self-starter and a role model for work ethic and professionalism
- Demonstrated leadership and influence with cross functional teams and senior leadership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
