Requirements
- 5+ years leading development of ground-up platforms and services
- 8+ years of experience leading employee/contractor blended organizations
- 8+ years working with Iterative and Incremental methods (e.g., SCRUM)
- 5+ years of AWS experience in a mature, leading cloud-first organization
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud-based architectures for both product implementation and production environments
- Strong familiarity with cloud-based and on-prem integration patterns
- Experience delivering strategic presentations to C-suite and board leadership, as well as public speaking experience as a technology domain leader
Responsibilities
- Establish the Enterprise Software Platform organization and its objectives and key results (OKRs)
- Define execution strategy for Software Platforms
- Lead as the subject matter expert for Software Platform domains
- Accountable for the performance of software platform leads, their teams, and their platforms
- Define, communicate, and improve key metrics which focus on and demonstrate advancement against Software Platform OKRs
- Foster iterative development in software platforms, and evolve Lean and SCRUM delivery models
- Adopt and contribute to enterprise DevOps capabilities, aligning to platform development needs, and reducing delivery friction
Other
- Bachelor's Degree computer science, hard sciences, or engineering is preferred, master’s degree is desirable or equivalent professional experience for either degree
- Experience in software product delivery organizations, which both deliver and run customer-facing products in operations, with demonstrated progressive leadership growth in all aspect’s software delivery
- 5+ years defining compelling job descriptions, attracting, and hiring industry-leading talent, both in employee and contractor roles
- 8+ years of experience selecting and negotiating 3rd party products and services
- Supported organizations with multiple lines of business, with systems and products that have both vertical and cross-cutting business aspects
