OneMain Financial is evolving its multi-product strategy to penetrate markets through compelling customer engagement and needs to evolve enterprise software platforms to support faster product development and release.
Requirements
- 5+ years leading development of ground-up platforms and services, along with demonstrated maturing of both.
- 5+ years of experience leading on-prem to cloud-based technology organization transformation.
- 5+ years of AWS experience in a mature, leading cloud-first organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud-based architectures for both product implementation and production environments.
- Strong familiarity with cloud-based and on-prem integration patterns.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging DevOps pipelines with high automation for quality maturity and cycle-time reduction.
- CI/CD, test automation, and strategic use of the pipeline to ensure non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Leads the strategy, development, and adoption of software platforms, initially focusing Customer identity and Access(CIAM) and Customer Profile.
- Spans selection, design, and development all the way to developer integration support and operational support.
- Define execution strategy for Software Platforms.
- Establish Software Platform services and capabilities which drive product delivery for OMF customers.
- Define, socialize, and champion Software Platform capabilities that fuel modernization, cloud-based products, and 3rd party integrations which support OMF customer needs and drive toward OMF business strategy.
- Foster iterative development in software platforms.
- Adopt and contribute to enterprise DevOps capabilities, aligning to platform development needs, and reducing delivery friction.

- Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to one of our offices located in Baltimore MD, Charlotte NC, or Irving, TX.
- Establish the Enterprise Software Platform organization (starting with CIAM and Customer Profile) and its objectives and key results (OKRs). Work with senior leadership to align Software Platform OKRs against product priorities and business OKRs.
- Lead as the subject matter expert for Software Platform domains.
- Accountable for the performance of software platform leads, their teams, and their platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree computer science, hard sciences, or engineering is preferred, master’s degree is desirable or equivalent professional experience for either degree
