Cboe is seeking a Vice President of Data & Analytics to lead a high-performing, cross-functional team and unlock innovation, deliver actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and foster a data-first culture.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake) and analytics tools (e.g. Sigma, SageMaker)
  • Expertise in analyzing Options, Futures and Equities market data
  • Experience adopting and deploying enterprise-wide AI solutions
  • Experience reviewing technical solutions and code (e.g. SQL, Python)
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing data teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of how data interacts across systems, teams, and business processes to uncover insights, anticipate needs and drive enterprise-wide decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company-wide data strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Build and lead cross-functional data teams to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior technical and business leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.
  • Ensure scalable, global data solutions that uphold high standards of quality, integrity, and accessibility across the enterprise.
  • Build platforms and analytics to answer business questions, support product innovation, and deepen client understanding.
  • Champion AI and data literacy across the organization.
  • Oversee sub-teams including Business Intelligence, AI Center of Excellence, Quantitative Research, Analytics Engineering, and Client Engagement Software.

Other

  • Master’s degree in technical fields or analytical fields such as Financial Math, Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
  • 15+ years in analytics/technology in Financial Markets, including 10+ years in leadership.
  • Inspire and retain top talent through impactful projects and autonomy.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, strategic and highly engaged team culture by inspiring teams to think big, challenge norms and translate ambitious ideas into impactful outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, support teams, and vendors (e.g., Snowflake, Sigma).
