Serco is looking to identify and integrate capabilities to support large/technically complex opportunities serving its US Defense and Federal Civilian markets, aiming to transition Serco developed products and tools into existing US DoD or Federal Civilian contracts to meet customer missions or expand customer base.
Requirements
- Over 15 years of specialized technical experience, including demonstrated success in research and development and digital engineering for U.S. Federal Government departments and agencies, with a strong focus on modern defense-based R&D initiatives.
- Domain knowledge and experience in digital engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and/or autonomous systems.
- Proven experience in working with or overseeing technology and integration strategies for large programs of record ($100M - $750M).
- Experience developing and maintaining strategic technology plans, program plans, operational budgets greater than $8M, and developing and measuring performance objectives.
- Strong background in Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, and digital modernization solutions for defense or civilian based operational missions.
- Strong government and industry Research and Development technology background in Digital Modernization strategy.
- Proven success in advancing Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and software acquisition transition competencies with the US Federal Government.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product management of complex technology transitions in support of the Advanced Technology Group’s development initiatives and Business Unit growth pipelines, encompassing new business pursuits and re-compete opportunities across the U.S. Federal Government, commercial and select international markets.
- Lead and support the pursuit of complex technology assessment activities and must manage multiple enterprise engineering and technical disciplines to create the transformational synergy among various engineering, technology, and programmatic initiatives while providing expertise and advise to customers across the federal government or international customer relations.
- Manage the Engineering Hub that comprises of the Enterprise Software Factory, Engineering Development Network, and various senior domain experts of advanced analytics and engineering programs and functions.
- Use your domain expertise as well as an established professional network to support technology innovation and transition targets of opportunity.
- Focus on the identification and integration of capabilities to support large/technically complex opportunities serving Serco North America.
- Provide proven success in developing new opportunities to transition Serco developed products and tools into existing US DoD or Federal Civilian contracts to meet the customer mission or expand the customer base.
- Advance Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and software acquisition transition competencies with the US Federal Government.

- This position will be remote within the US and require 10% travel.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the leadership team and act as an enabler of key projects and initiatives with a corporate value of over $50M.
- Must have excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and highly effective interpersonal skills to carry out daily interactions with technical leaders, business executives, customers, teammates/partners, and subcontractors.
- Must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
