The company is looking to fill an officer position responsible for the strategy and execution of cross-enterprise data operations.
Requirements
- Expert level technical knowledge of modeling
- Advanced working knowledge in related fields
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
- Senior level knowledge of the insurance industry, its products and services
- Applicable certifications preferred
- Experience with data governance, third-party data, platform strategy, change management, and enterprise data strategy
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and platforms
Responsibilities
- Sets strategy and drives execution for global data governance initiatives
- Accountable for global third-party data strategy
- Supports change management for large data driven US initiatives
- Leads Business Intelligence (BI) Platform Strategy
- Identifies and responds to emerging issues in the insurance, regulatory and legal climates
- Fosters innovation and empowers others to take calculated risks and continuously improve skills, efficiency and quality of work
- Remains current on state/territory issues and regulations, industry activity and trends
Other
- Bachelor’s degree with Master’s preferred in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or equivalent
- Typically a minimum of 12 years of related experience in designing, developing, deploying and maintaining data/predictive models in a business setting or equivalent experience with seven years of management experience
- Advanced communication skills
- Proven strong leadership and management skills demonstrating integrity and professionalism
- Ability to drive results by identifying and resolving significant problems within scope of responsibility
