The VP responsible for Global Platform & Cloud Engineering will outline and carry out the vision, strategy, and delivery of our global technology platforms and cloud infrastructure. Manage cloud infrastructure, ensure site reliability, coordinate DevOps practices, lead platform development, manage databases, and ensure quality assurance. In this role, you will partner with leaders to align technology solutions with business outcomes. As VP, you will champion modern engineering practices—Infrastructure as Code, DevOps pipelines, automated testing, and scalable platform services—ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and cost-optimized.
Requirements
- Proficiency in multiple cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and datacenter administration.
- Proficient in upholding availability, streamlining processes, and managing incidents effectively.
- Deep experience building pipelines with automated testing, security, and continuous deployment.
- Proven expertise in enterprise databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL), clustering, replication, and recovery.
- Experience embedding QA automation into DevOps lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the enterprise strategy for Platforms & Engineering in collaboration with Cybersecurity and Digital Office partners.
- Establish a multi-cloud, hybrid infrastructure vision that embraces leading trends and platform engineering practices.
- Oversee global cloud strategy (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises data centers.
- Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) to enforce compliance, security, and consistency.
- Establish and scale Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices with clear SLIs/SLOs, incident response, and automation.
- Lead the adoption of automated CI/CD pipelines with coordinated security, quality, and compliance checks.
- Build and evolve core platform services (Kubernetes, container orchestration, microservices platforms) that enable developer efficiency and self-service.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
